Why they might be annoying:

A fansite described Kael as ‘the massive dude with the dreadlocked beard that looks a bit like a squid.’
Their set at the 2010 Download Festival had to be cut short because too many audience members were crowd surfing up onto the stage.
Moody missed two concerts in Australia after being arrested for assaulting a QANTAS flight attendant (2014).
After an onstage meltdown, Moody dropped out of their European tour to check into rehab (2017).
The merchandise sold through their webpage includes a baby onesie emblazoned with the band’s mascot Knucklehead. (In case you want to get your infant something even more traumatic than a ‘can’t sleep – clown will eat me’ bed.)

Why they might not be annoying:

Metal Hammer named them ‘best new band.’ (2009)
They played ten shows for US soldiers stationed in Iraq (March, 2010).
They have raised funds for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. (And addressed the issue in several songs.)
AllMusic described their sound as ‘equal parts melodic and meaty guitar riffs, fat vamps, catchy hooks, tight, flashy solos, and hard-grooving bass and drums.’
