Why he might be annoying:

He claims to have real mental powers.
He sued Johnny Carson for making him look like a fool when Johnny brought out different spoons for Uri to bend.
He would not let Uri touch them and had skeptic, Amazing Randi, there to make sure there were no shenanigans.
(An embarrassed and sweating Uri feigned that it just wasn't working that day.)
He is currently suing Nintendo for 100's of millions for depicting an evil pokemon monster as Uri Geller.
He claims to have stopped Big Ben twice.
He claims to have stalled the Olympic Flame from rising during the 2000 Olympics for several minutes. The real reason the flame raising stalled, it was never tested (to keep it a surprise) and thus there was a fuel issue.
He is a vegetarian.

He made a lot of skeptics famous for disproving his spoon bending nonsense.
He made a lot of money off feeble minded people.
He is left handed.
