Why Star Trek: Enterprise might be annoying:

Its theme song, 'Faith of the Heart,' upsets some of the Star Trek fans who consider it inappropriate for a Star Trek series.
Like the original Star Trek series, its ratings were never particularly strong.
It had issues with first name of the character of Captain Archer with the choices Jeffrey and Jackson before settling with Jonathan.
NBC tried to get the series but lost to UPN for it.

Why Star Trek: Enterprise might not be annoying:

The main cast stayed in tact throughout the entire series run.
Its opening title sequence is comprised of images of exploration through the years.
Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner from Star Trek: The Next Generation made guest appearances during the fourth season run.
It was the first Star Trek series to be produced in wide screen.
