The Resume

Why Survivor 18: Tocantins might be annoying:

At the start, each tribe had to decide, by vote, who its least popular member was, based on first impressions.
Sandy and Sierra were the big losers, leading everyone to believe that they had just been voted out of the game.
But instead of being sent home, they got to helicopter into camp, while the rest had to hike in.
    Non-natives have a hard time with the show's pronunciation (it's TOE-kan-CHEENS!)
Exiled players had the option of switching tribes upon returning to the game, yet no one took advantage of that new rule.
They had to put up with Coach’s delusions of grandeur.
It rained during many of the challenges.
Producers deliberately left knick-knacks around camp in the hopes that contestants might create more fake Immunity Idols, just as past players had done.
How many times did we have to hear them making Dragon Slayer references? (Thanks a lot, Coach!)
One of the castaways, Taj, was a former R&B star who only got on because producers were looking to cast a pro football player’s wife.
She was willing to let slip her husband’s true identity, but not her own.
Once again, Exile Island wasn’t a true island.

Why Survivor 18: Tocantins might not be annoying:

It marked the first time that applicants under 21 could apply for the show without a waiver.
The opening narrative featured scenes of Brazilian nightlife (and bootie).
At least the recap episode didn't have any rehashed footage.
Spencer ended up in a cross-season love match with Todd Herzog from the China cycle.
Neither Brendan’s Exile Alliance nor Coach’s Warrior Alliance were effective in the game.
At one point, the old Timbiras outnumbered the old Jalapaos 6-3, yet the first five sent to the jury were all Timbiras.
Taj was the only Jalapao member on the jury.
Both Sandy and Sierra survived longer than expected, as neither one was the first from her tribe to be voted out.
Sierra even made it as far as the jury.
J.T. became the first Survivor player to score a perfect game, having never received a single vote against him, not even in the Final Jury vote (which he won 7-0).
For the first time since the Thailand cycle (and second time overall), the finalists were all male.
It truly was an individual game this time.
