The Resume

    (October 2, 2000-September 23, 2005)
    Aired in Syndication
    Hosted by Frank Nicotero
Premise: Two studio contestants are shown 'man on the street' videos of regular pedestrians being asked trivia questions and must predict if they got the answer right or wrong

Why Street Smarts might be annoying:

It was basically Jay Leno's 'Jaywalking' segment in game show form.
The contestants usually only won a couple thousand dollars.
The interviewees were usually obnoxious party boys and valley girls from Southern California.
The 'street' contestants would often miss really easy questions like 'What color is the exterior of the White House?'
They occasionally had 'celebrity editions' featuring has-beens like Gary Coleman and Sally Struthers playing for charity.

Why Street Smarts might not be annoying:

It showed just how truly dumb our society is getting.
Host Frank Nicotero worked his ass off conducting the street interviews and emceeing the studio game.
Sometimes they would throw in a trick question just to see if the 'street' contestant was paying attention (ex. 'Canada is the capital of what state?').
They would sometimes have 'street' contestants from past episodes playing in studio for cash.
It was a cheap, fun little game show that was played mainly for laughs.
