The Resume

    (June 29, 1968- )
    Raised in Russell, Manitoba, Canada
Right Wing for the Calgary Flames (1988-1999), Colorado Avalanche (1999), New York Rangers (1999-2002) and Chicago Blackhawks (2002-03) (#14)
Member of Canada's Mens Olympic Hockey Team (2002)
    Suspended by the NHL indefinitely

Why he might be annoying:

He is both an alcoholic and a drug addict.
He has been suspended on numerous occasions for alcohol and substance abuse.
He signed a ridiculous contract with the New York Rangers. This began the downward spiral his career took.
He beat up the San Jose Sharks mascot, S.J. Sharkie.
He was flapping his arms like a chicken screaming obscenities at the Islander fans because he was being taunted.
He angrily stormed out of a game due to lack of playing time and was suspended shortly after.
He violated his aftercare program which led to an indefinite suspension (2003).
He was involved in a strip club altercation with teammates Tyler Arnason and Phil Housley (2003).
Many feel that incident was the downfall for the Blackhawks 2002-03 season.
    He is divorced.
He fathered a son out of wedlock.
    He has a gap tooth.
He cried when he got traded from Calgary to Colorado.
He frequently whined about the officiating.
He blew a massive gasket on TV when his beer league team lost in the championship game.
Many hockey insiders guess he was the mystery player along with Sheldon Kennedy who was sexually abused by Graham James in the early 1980's.

Why he might not be annoying:

He holds the Calgary Flames all time records for points and goals in a career.
He was on Canada's Gold medal winning team at the Salt Lake City Olympics (2002).
He overcame the odds as an 8th round draft pick to become the Flames all-time leader in many categories.
He was born to a drug-addicted mother and an alcoholic father, which may be a contributing factor to his off-ice behavioral problems.
He was a member of the Calgary Flames 1989 Stanley Cup Championship team in his rookie season.
