Why he might be annoying:

    He was a journeyman goaltender.
He sat out the remainder of the 2014-15 season, upon being traded to the Sabres.
He was virtually unknown in mainstream circles prior to his trade to the Sabres, which was result of a Twitter exchange between the team and the football player of the same name.
He struggled to establish himself in the NHL until he landed with the Islanders.
He has a penchant to allow really soft goals.

Why he might not be annoying:

He proved to be a serviceable backup for the Rangers, when Henrik Lundqvist went down with an injury.
His play allowed him an invitation to play for Canada at the World Hockey Championship (2010).
During his stint with the Sabres, he broke Ryan Miller's franchise record for most saves in a single shutout.
He became the first Calgary native since Mike Vernon to play for the Flames.
Despite not signing a big contract, he became the team's starting goalie when Brian Elliott proved to be too inconsistent.
