    His short lived tenure with the Packers was cut short by a neck injury.
    He released a video game entitled 'Sterling Sharpe: End 2 End.'
    He is overshadowed by his younger sibling, Denver Broncos Tight End Shannon.
    He and Marshall Faulk made scathing comments regarding Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel.
    He was an analyst on NBC's 'Sunday Night Countdown' for just one year before being replaced by Tiki Barber.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was drafted among the likes of Tim Brown and Michael Irvin.
    When former Packers quarterback Brett Favre arrived, they became one of the league's best passing tandems.
    He was one out of only seven NFL receivers to excel in the Triple Crown of receiving yards, touchdowns and receptions.
    He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame.
    His brother Shannon, upon wining his first Super Bowl in 1998, dedicated his ring to Sterling and their grandmother.
    A pedriatic center in his college hometown in Columbia, South Carolina is named in his honor.
