Why he might be annoying:

He's from Italy, but the WWF billed him as being from Montreal and his whole gimmick was being a proud Canadian.
Because he was so pumped on steroids in the WWF, he lost the ability to do much in the ring besides pose.
At the 1988 Royal Rumble, he attempted to break the world record in bench press by lifting 710 pounds. After seeing that Bravo was having a hard time, commentator and spotter Jesse Ventura helped him.
After his retirement from wrestling, he got into the business of smuggling cigarettes into Canada. He was rumored to having ties to the Montreal underworld.
He was killed after being shot 7 times. The killing is suspected it most likely had to do with issues over the smuggling of cigarettes

Why he might not be annoying:

He had enormous strength.
After one year in wrestling, he was so high on the cards that he would team with the likes of Edouard Carpentier and Andre the Giant.
He was a tag team specialist and was able to tag with anybody.
He was the Inspirational Wrestler of the Year in PWI in 1978.
He's in the Canadian Wrestling Hall of Fame.
