The movie studio insisted on covering up her impressive bosom in ruffles and bows.
When she turned to face the camera, movie audiences had to duck.
She was a better singer than she was an actress.
She was divorced twice.
Her eyebrows are artificial looking.
The majority of her movies are not memorable fluff with ridiculous plot lines.
She abruptly ended her film career in 1956.

Why she might not be annoying:

She had a perfect hourglass figure.
She had an amazing colotura soprano voice.
Her musicals, however improbably plotted, made lots of money for her studio.
Her version of 'Show Boat' was considered better than the original.
