    As the 'every man' in WKRP, he was usually overshadowed by the rest of the cast.
    Loni Anderson said he was jealous and sometimes physically abusive during their affair.
    He said, 'Does it bother me that I'm known today for a 1970s TV series? Absolutely.'

    He was one of the background dancers when Isaac Hayes performed 'The Theme from Shaft' at the Oscars ceremony (1972).

    Loni Anderson wrote, 'I was sexually addicted to him.'
