Football Player

The Resume

    (October 29, 1987- )
    Born in Katy, Texas
Drafted 35th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2011 NFL Draft
    Quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals
    Attended Texas Christian University
Most Valuable Player of the Texas Bowl (2007), Poinsettia Bowl (2008) and Rose Bowl (2011, offense)

Why he might be annoying:

Some football pundits questioned his draft selection as a result of the Bengals track record with drafting quarterbacks.
He has various nicknames which are plays on movies where the characters had the name Dalton or Red such as '007,' 'Roadhouse' and 'Shawshank.'
He didn't get a lot of exposure in mainstream football circles as a result of playing for the Bengals.
In his first NFL post-season game, he turned the ball over three times which helped the Houston Texans win their first ever playoff game.
He isn't the first Andy Dalton in athletic circles as he shares his name with an Australian rugby player and a British cricket player.
As a result of having red hair, he dyed black stripes into it, to match the team's bengal theme. (see picture)

Why he might not be annoying:

He recorded a 42-8 record as a starting quarterback at Texas Christian University.
He and A. J. Green set the NFL rookie quarterback/wide receiver tandem record for yards and completion, despite the fact they didn't have an off-season to get familiar as a result of the lockout.
He proved to be a suitable replacement as the Bengals starting quarterback following Carson Palmer's decision to sit out the season until he was traded.
He recorded four fourth quarter comeback victories in his rookie season (2011).
He and Cam Newton became the first pair of rookie quarterbacksin NFL history to be named to the Pro Bowl rosters.
Months after being drafted by the Bengals, he started a charity in the Cincinnati area which provides to families in need.
