Why they might be annoying:

At the height of their fame, the ladies wore big hair and huge shoulder pads.
The group's name is a synonym for 'orgasm.'
'The Men All Pause' was often mistakenly heard as 'Menopause.'
Their reunion on VH-1's 'Bands Reunited' exposed a simmering cat fight. Cheryl Cooley and the other band members argued regarding money and the right to use the name 'Klymaxx.'
Consequently, there are now 2 versions of Klymaxx performing.

Why they might not be annoying:

Their songs dealt with female empowerment a decade before the Spice Girls contrived 'girl power.'
Halle Berry parodied the band in a hilarious Saturday Night Live skit.
The VH-1 appearance led to the members, minus Cheryl Cooley, to reunite and tour again.
They haven't received the same recognition as other all-female bands of that era.
