Drafted 118th overall by the New York Islanders in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft
Goaltender for the New York Islanders (1994-99), Edmonton Oilers (1999-2004) and the Colorado Avalanche (2004)

Why he might be annoying:

He never won a first round playoff series during his NHL career.
He earned Olympic notoriety after he allowed a 20 foot shot off his mask, which went into the net, which allowed Belarus to pull off an upset victory (2002).
His reputation never recovered following the incident.
He went 1-3-1 with the Avalanche following his trade from Edmonton, in what would be his NHL swan song before the lockout.
Some hockey pundits felt he was extremely overworked as a starting goaltender.

Why he might not be annoying:

He backstopped Sweden to a gold medal at the Lillehammer Olympics (1994).
Despite having a subpar cast in Long Island, he started an average of 50-60 games a season with the Islanders.
He was a member of two World All-Star teams (2000, 2002).
He was forced to retire from active play as a result of chronic pain in his hips.
