The Resume

Why they might be annoying:

It could easily be construed as a newer version of The Golden Girls, with the three brunettes replacing all of Betty White's deceased co-stars.
The writers felt they had to make a lot of hip Cleveland references; for example, by doing episodes centering around LeBron James and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Wendie Malick went from playing a washed-up supermodel on Just Shoot Me! to a washed-up soap opera star on this show.
When it premiered, Valerie Bertinelli was a divorced mother of a college-age kid; so was her character Melanie.

Why they might not be annoying:

It was TV Land's first ever original series.
Betty White was only supposed to be on the premiere episode, but producers loved her performance so much, she was made a regular.
    It revived Valerie Bertinelli's career.
Carl Rainer and Susan Lucci were among the show's memorable guest stars.
It wasted no time in dissing LeBron James after he decided to take his talents to South Beach.
It brought back the practice of telling viewers at home that it was filmed before a live studio audience.
It portrayed Cleveland in a good light; for on the show, Clevelanders are viewed as less shallow and superficial than people in Los Angeles.
