    His first two World Championships appearances were a disappointment (2003 and 2005).
    He and Sean Scott tried out and did not make a spot to compete in the 2004 Olympics.
    He was an alternative during the 2004 Olympics only to not make a match appearance.
    His last Olympics appearance in 2012 was a disappointment as he and Phil Dalhausser struggled to defend their gold medals
