U.S. Congressman

The Resume

    (November 22, 1963- )
    Born in Ontario, Canada
Republican representing Georgia's 9th congressional district in the US House of Representatives (assumed office January 3, 2021)

Why he might be annoying:

He had no political experience prior to be elected to Congress (we've seen how well that worked out.
He criticized the legitimacy of the presidential election results of his home state, but seemed fine with the legitimacy of the results of his own election (guess his section of the ballot was always counted correctly, huh)?
He assumed office January 3, 2021, and 3 days later, he voted against certifying the election results of Arizona and Pennsylvania.
He said there was no insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 - stating the group coming into the Capitol looked like a 'normal group of tourists'.
Somehow, he felt it necessary to help barricade the House chambers door from the 'normal looking tourists'.
He later voted not to honor the security officer killed on January 6, 2021, opposing the narrative that an 'insurrection' happened.
He didn't want to wear a mask during the pandemic, or go through metal detectors at the U.S. Capitol - proudly proclaiming he stands up to big government.
He thinks 'big government' is okay when voting rights are being restricted, though.

Why he might not be annoying:

He served in the United States Navy for 28 years.
He started a business in his garage which became a nationwide company...selling firearms.
The IRS seized nearly $1 million from his business for no valid reason, and the money was eventually awarded to be returned to him.
    He earned an MBA.
