    She accused John McCain of ‘sexism and racism’ for being critical of Susan Rice and declining to back her for Secretary of State.
    She flirted with trying to oust Nancy Pelosi as Speaker but eventually chose to fall in line and back the incumbent.
    She wrote a letter asking for leniency in the sentencing of Cleveland politician Lance Mason on felony assault and domestic violence charges (Mason would later attack and kill his ex-wife in 2018).
