Why he might be annoying:

He dropped out of med school.
He was a womanizer.
He was a Communist.
Some consider his political theories to be cold and brutal.
He didn’t care about the suffering of individuals, as long as the state survived.
Even the Communist Party distanced itself from him.
He hated bathing and shaving.
His play ‘Mother Courage’ was called ‘a piece of shit’ by one critic.

His plays were experimental and influential.
He is considered one of the first playwrights to ‘break through the Fourth Wall’ and challenge traditional ideas about theater.
