She was expelled from an Israeli kibbutz school over a pranking incident.
She and Gordon Roddick had their first child before marrying.
She described a woman's body as 'a canvas to paint stories on.'
She said, 'I hate the beauty industry...It exploits women,' then sold the Body Shop to a leading beauty company, L'Oreal.
L'Oreal also conducts animal testing, which she claims to be adamantly opposed to.

She was expelled from a school in South Africa for violating the apartheid laws by going to a black jazz club.
She called the Body Shop 'a series of brilliant accidents.'
She founded Children on the Edge, a charity to help disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe and Asia.
