Why Democratic Party might be annoying:

Many members of both parties come across as arrogant.
It was actually named the Democratic-Republican Party until 1844 (kinda confusing).
Some of its supporters are way too emotional.
Many of its members support affirmative action which discriminates against Asians, Caucasians and Arabs.
It tends to favor the redistribution of wealth from the people who earn it to the people who don't have much of it.
Many southern voters register as Democrats because they blame Republicans for the Civil War.
The Democrat lobby has helped insert the most propaganda into school curriculums.
Nearly all hippies are Democrats (the rest are libertarian).
Many of its members are soft on drug use and crime despite the damage it causes.
Democratic politicians are much more likely to raise your taxes than Republican ones, especially if you are middle-class or wealthy.

Why Democratic Party might not be annoying:

It balances the Republican party so that neither party is too powerful.
    It supports military pay raises.
It supports a woman's absolute right to choose whether she will have children or not.
It is perceived as the more caring of the two major parties.
Its platform advocates the separation of church and state.
Like the Republican Party, it supports the death penalty.
Its members have a tradition of supporting and empowering the arts.
Democratic presidents presided over two victorious World Wars.
Harry Truman, a Democrat, oversaw the formation of NATO, which opposed the Soviet bloc during the Cold War.
A Democratic government approved the New Deal during the Great Depression, which brought work to many of the unemployed.
It supports work place rights and fair wages.
A Democratic president (John F. Kennedy) resolved to land a man on the moon; this was achieved just a few years later.
It is the longest-lived American political party.
