Why she might be annoying:

    Her father ran a funeral home, and her bedroom was upstairs.
    She moved to California to become an actress, then attended college for a year before dropping out and moving back to California.
    She worked as a stewardess for Continental while studying at the Pasedena Playhouse.
    She was in her mid-twenties when she started getting movie roles, and it was because of her figure, with no real acting involved.
    Her first big break was in 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls,' considered as one of the worst movies ever made.
    She soon starred in 'Sweet Sugar' and 'Terminal Island,' both of which were prison movies that featured her naked.
    In 1981, outtakes from 'Terminal Island' with her full frontal nudity were released in a video entitled, 'Famous T & A.'
    She did sign to appear in the James Bond movie, 'Diamonds are Forever.' but was replaced at the last minute by Lana Wood.
    For several years, she had an ongoing affair with Dean Martin.
    She also had an affair with jockey Laffit Pincay, Jr. after breaking up with Martin.
    She was a natural brunette, and made many appearances that way but was bleaching her hair by the 1970's.

Why she might not be annoying:

    Although she had difficulties as a movie actress, she found herself a solid career in television.
    She was a featured performer on Love American Style, and displayed a variety of acting skills.
    She eventually got the role of a lifetime as Bea Travis, who was beautiful and intelligent
    She was a favorite of Aaron Spelling, who had her appear on several of his shows, such as Fantasy Island.
    She became friends with Tom Selleck, her co-star on the movie 'Terminal Island.' Because of that, he recommended her for a recurring role on Magnum P.I.
    Despite losing the role in 'Diamonds are Forever', she was still paid and earned TV residuals because she had signed a contract.
    Despite the affair, Dean Martin's children liked her.
    Early in her career, she was roommates with Toni Basil, who got her bit parts in plays and movies.
    When she discovered she had cervical cancer, she kept that secret from the media and her friends until the end.
