Why he might be annoying:

For most of his career he claimed to hail from 'Badstreet, U.S.A.'
He would constantly curse in interviews.
It was reported that his hiatus from wrestling was due to an auto accident, but there are reports that the real reason for his hiatus was a drug overdose that left him in a coma.
During his comeback, he would get in the ring to pose for Polaroid's during intermission at independent shows and very few fans would bother to pose with him.
His WWF stint had him under a mask going by the name The Executioner and fans could easily tell who it was.
The gimmick ended with a boring match with The Undertaker and he left the WWF shortly after.

Why he might not be annoying:

As one-half of The Fabulous Freebirds, he revolutionized tag team wrestling and did it before his 21st birthday.
He was the first foreign wrestler to win All Japan's Triple Crown Title.
He possessed the most vicious-looking punches and kicks in the sport and his aggressive style made him a sight to watch.
He was able to bust eyebrows open just by punching someone.
He was named Most Improved Wrestler of the Year in PWI in 1986.
He and Steve Williams were named Tag Team of the Year in PWI in 1992 and his tag team, The Fabulous Freebirds, won in 1981.
He's ranked #69 in Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
