Also appeared in the films ‘Hollywood Knights’ (1981), ‘Valley Girl’ (1983), ‘Staying Alive’ (1983), ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ (1984), ‘Greedy’ (1994), and ‘The Wedding Pact’ (2014)

Why she might be annoying:

‘One of the Guys’ was her only leading role in a movie.
She was a decade older than the high schooler she portrayed in ‘Just One of the Guys.’
She said that after ‘Just One of the Guys,’ ‘People stopped looking at my face and looked at my chest instead.’

Why she might not be annoying:

She and her husband founded the Harold Robinson Foundation, which provides free summer camp for inner city youths.
She said about ‘Just One of the Guys,’ ‘Although it may be cloaked in a silly teenage romp, I was absolutely drawn to this project because of its subversive gender identity messages…. The film operates on so many different levels and deals with so many teenage issues, from homophobia to the pressure that is put on kids to conform to a certain ideal.’
Sherilyn Fenn noted, ‘I thought Joyce made a really cute boy.’
