Defenseman for the Quebec Nordiques/ Colorado Avalanche (1994-2001), Los Angeles Kings (2001-07) and the Vancouver Canucks (2007-08)

Why he might be annoying:

He will always be remembered for having the worst luck with the Stanley Cup.
He became a full-time player, the year after the Avalanche won their first title, and was traded months before they won the second one.
He originally wasn't supposed to be part of the trade that sent Rob Blake to the Avs, but was thrown in at the Kings insistence.
He struggled to stay healthy during the later stages of his career.

He earned a business degree from the University of Vermont.
He led all rookies in plus/minus in his first full season with the Avalanche (1996-97).
He was a member of the United States men's Olympic hockey team that won the silver medal (2002).
He became a franchise partner in 11 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants across the New England region, following his retirement from hockey.
He served as a color commentator for the Vermont men's hockey team (2009-10).
