In the 1980s he released an LP with a band called 'Eddie and The Monsters'; the main track was titled 'Whatever Happened to Eddie.'
Supposedly he dresses up as his Eddie Munster character when he has sex.
He appeared on the reality show 'Star Dates.'

He often makes appearances at nostalgia conventions; especially around Halloween.
He always signs autographs for people.
He has a genuine love for his co-stars on 'The Munsters.'
His Stepfather is former Professional Baseball player Ken Hunt.
Ben Stiller used to make fun of Butch by dressing up as Eddie Munster on his comedy show.
