Why he might be annoying:

    He was one of eight children in his family.
    He named his son after himself.
    He didn't get much exposure in his draft year, due to the fact he played at a small college.
    He struggled to stay healthy throughout the course of his career.
    He was remembered by casual fans for dropping an expletive in a post-game interview, following the Steelers AFC Championship victory (1995).
    Despite being a mainstay on the Steelers defense during the majority of the 1990's, he spent his final season on an underachieving Panthers team.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He overcame extreme poverty to reach the NFL.
    He was drafted by the Steelers out of Fort Valley State University, after he impressed the team's scouting staff with his performance in the 1987 Heritage Bowl game.
    He was part of a solid Steelers defensive corps in the 1990's, which saw him play alongside the likes of Kevin Greene, Rod Woodson, Levon Kirkland and Carnell Lake.
    He was considered the emotional leader of the Steelers defensive unit.
    He played in five Pro Bowls and made three All-Pro teams during his career.
    He was considered a true student of the game, and often would mentor younger players when he was injured.
    He was inducted into the Steelers Hall of Honor (2020)
