    End for the Chicago Bears (1932-1936), Philadelphia Eagles (1937-1939) and the *Phil-Pitt Steagles (1943)
    *A team that merged the Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers together for the 1943 season
    Two-time NFL Champion (1932, 1933)
    Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1971)
    Inducted into the Eagles Honor Roll (1987)
    Died in a car accident at the age of 37

    He refused to wear a helmet during most of his NFL career.
    He left the Bears to spend his years on losing Eagles teams.
