    Secretary of Treasury for the Clinton administration (1999-2001)
    Served as the 27th President of Havard University (2001-2006)

Why he might be annoying:

    During an economic conference, he stated their are more men then woman in science and engineering.
    That comment most likely caused his resignation.
    He is divorced.
    He is opposed to free trade and globalization.
    He criticized Cornel West for missing too many classes and devoting too much time to political activism and spoken-word poetry.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He entered MIT at sixteen.
    He made many advancements in the field of economics.
    He received the John Bates Clark Medal for his work from the American Economic Association (1993).
    He is the first social scientist to win the Alan T. Waterman Award from the National Science Foundation (1987).
