Why they might be annoying:

Ware and Marsh had been in the Human League, which became a success after they left.
’(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang’ was banned by the BBC over concerns that it libeled Ronald Reagan.
Ware described his fascination with musical technology as ‘verging on the pathological.’
They did not play their first live concert until 1997.

Why they might not be annoying:

They named themselves after a fictional band in Anthony Burgess’ novel ‘A Clockwork Orange.’
Ware and Marsh also formed the production team the British Electric Foundation, who launched Tina Turner’s mid-80s comeback.
They performed on Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’
