    Acted in 'The Bamboo Saucer,' 'The Poseidon Adventure,' 'Harper Valley P.T.A,' 'Angel in My Pocket,' 'The Love God?,' 'The Boatniks,' and 'How to Frame a Figg'

Why he might be annoying:

    He was on the SuperFriends show.
    His had a radio gig doing comic character Archie Andrews.
    He played eight different characters but with the same demeanor on The Phil Silvers Show.
    One of his earliest TV jobs was on Captain Video and His Video Rangers (yes, that one).
    He got typecast as bumbling sidekicks and suck-up errand boys (except for Superboy).

    He began his career at age 11 on radio dramas.
    He served in World War II as a navigator on B-29s in the US Army Air Corps.
    He was married to the same woman for over sixty years.
    He was a fan favorite on McHale's Navy and reprised the Lt. Elroy role for the two feature films released in '64 and '65.
    He is one of the few actors to have both appeared on the 1960's Batman series and to have a voice role on the 90's animated series.
    He was Commissioner Gordon for all subsequent DCU animated properties until his death, including the Batman movie 'Mask of Phantasm.'
    He and Mel Blanc took turns doing the voice of The Raven on The Munsters.
    One of his last jobs was doing voice work for the videogame 'Mafia II.'
