She named her White House cat Misty Malarky Ying Yang.
During a White House dinner for foreign dignitaries, she was caught reading a book at the table.
She was arrested for trespassing while protesting on the grounds of South Africa's embassy in Washington, D.C. (April 1985).
She was arrested (along with Abbie Hoffman) for protesting C.I.A. recruitment at the University of Massachusetts (1987).

Why she might not be annoying:

Rumors she was a lesbian were never substantiated.
She was not given the same 'hands-off' treatment from the media that Chelsea Clinton received at her parent's insistence.
She has taken strong a stance against apartheid and for nuclear disarmament.
She is a board member of the Carter Center, her father's human rights organization.
She is protective of her husband and son and their right to privacy, rarely granting interviews.
