    Appeared in nearly 40,000 productions of 'The Golden Horseshoe Revue' at Disneyland's Frontierland (1955-71,1974-82)
    Also performed in the 'Diamond Horseshoe Revue' at Disney World (1971-74)
    Appeared in the films 'The Absent-Minded Professor' (1961), 'Son of Flubber' (1963) and 'The Love Bug' (1968)
    Named a Disney Legend (1995)

Why he might be annoying:

    He played the bagpipes.
    He called his balloon animals 'Boagaloons.'
    He was Walt Disney's choice to voice Tigger in the 'Winnie the Pooh' cartoons, but he was replaced by Paul Winchell when Disney died.
    He died one day before his 'Golden Horseshoe Revue' partner Betty Taylor.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was married to Ellen Morgan for 68 years until his death.
    His two-week contract with Disneyland turned into a 27-year gig.
    Walt's daughter Diane said of 'The Golden Horseshoe Revue,' 'It never got stale because Wally was always fresh.'
    He was a major influence on Steve Martin who studied his humor and timing while working at Disneyland as a teen.
