Why Gibson/Miller Band might be annoying:

They were considered too rock by country purists.
Their second album 'Red, White and Blue Collar' did not fare well, which prompted Epic Records to drop them from their contract.
Bryan was replaced with Doug Kahan, prior to the release of their second album.
Their cover of 'Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys' was used as the theme song for the 1994 film 'The Cowboy Way.'
Dave and Blue attempted to pursue solo careers following the band's demise, but weren't successful.

Why Gibson/Miller Band might not be annoying:

Dave and Blue were brought together by Epic Records president Doug Johnson, who felt the two would work well together.
Blue served as a touring musician for Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, prior to starting his own band.
Dave wrote several country hits during the early 1990's, prior to starting the band.
Their debut album 'Where There's Smoke' produced five charting singles.
They beat Blackhawk for the New Group of the Year Award (1993).
