Why they might be annoying:

Yeah, that’s the correct spelling for both the group name (one guess why) and the vocalist’s AKA.
1997 is also not a misprint — the Hales have been at it since roughly 13 (Lzzy) and 10 years old (Arejay)!
On their official website, you can expect to get Lzzy’s ‘diary’ (read: blog) — but nothing remotely resembling a biography or group history.
Says Hottinger: ‘You can’t trust records anymore; there is too much trickery in the studio.’ (Funny, because vinyl has made a huge comeback, too.)
Their second Grammy nomination – which wouldn’t result in a win – came six years after their first (see below).

Why they might not be annoying:

As the featured band at a reopening on Bar Rescue, they were held up as a shining example of an act that wouldn’t repel customers.
The Hales themselves (brother and sister) are the only lifelong members.
A live 2012 performance was interrupted by Hottinger’s announcement that ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’ had just gotten a Grammy nomination (which they would win).
Their father Roger was their bass player for some six years.
They had the honor of being the final opening act for <3952>Dio
