The Resume

    (October 9, 1987- )
    Born in Whittier, California
Films include ‘The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It,’ ‘Laid in America,’ ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet,’ and ‘Toy Story 4’
Semi-finalist on the sixth season of America’s Got Talent
Featured player on Saturday Night Live (2016; achieved repertoire status in 2018)
Hosted the 36th Independent Spirit Awards (2021)

Why she might be annoying:

Not in four decades has there been a Hispanic repertory player in the SNL cast. (Four damn decades!)
Soon as she joined SNL, she deleted several tweets viewed as racist (2010–2011, including one about a ‘bossy black lady’ she compared to ‘steve erkel [sic]’).
She takes deep pride in her actual voice, which she describes as either Kermit the Frog, Mickey Mouse, or even both.

Why she might not be annoying:

She wasn’t the first Hispanic overall to be a featured SNL player, though.
When you go to her official website, you may come across some simple black and white artwork.
Besides impersonating vocalists, she has her own vocal chops (‘Dreamer’ being her debut album, in 2019).
