Why he might be annoying:

He encouraged employees to use their retirement funds to invest in Enron stock, even though it had fallen sharply in previous months (September 2001).
During that period, he sold much of his Enron shares, knowing Enron was in serious trouble.
Enron declared the then-largest bankruptcy in U.S. history.
Several thousand jobs were lost, as Enron's stock plummeted to just cents. As a result of the stock drop, the retirement funds for many employees disappeared.
He was a good friend of George W. Bush, and was one of the highest donors to Bush's campaigns.
Bush's deregulation, played a major role in making Enron a huge company.
Bush nicknamed him was 'Kenny Boy.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He headed a company (ENRON) which ranked as high as number seven in the Fortune 500.
He involved himself with various Houston charities.
He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri and a Ph.D. from the University of Houston, all in the field of economics.
