Why Dr. Renee Richards might be annoying:

She sued the United States Tennis Association to be allowed to play professionally as a woman.
Many feel her male musculature, skeleton, circulatory system and other aspects of her physiology gave her an unfair advantage.
She outraged the trans-gendered community by saying she regrets making 'the big change.'
She said transsexuals shouldn't be allowed to play professional sports.
She is reportedly full of herself.
She has terrible taste in hats.

Why Dr. Renee Richards might not be annoying:

She won her lawsuit against the sports authorities.
She is a doctor.
Her best finish was the final eight in the U.S. Open, so she couldn't have had that much of an advantage.
After retiring from tennis, she went back to her quiet medical practice.
Vanessa Redgrave played her in a TV movie.
Considering how many people call her a freak or a traitor, her life can't be easy.
