Politician

The Resume

    (May 26, 1969- )
    Born in Nepean, Ontario, Canada
Progressive Conservative Party member in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (1995–2005)
Progressive Conservative Party of Canada (Ottawa West-Nepean riding, 2006– )
    Government House Leader (2010– )
Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies

Why he might be annoying:

He has a loud booming voice and intimidating personality, which makes him the ideal penalty killer – and primary thug – in Stephen Harper’s cabinet.
The death of his pet grey tabby in November 2009, reported from his Blackberry, created shockwaves (he simply wrote, ‘Thatcher has died,’ which in turn sparked rumors of Margaret Thatcher’s death).
He defended the conduct of airport security officials who thought an 85-year-old woman was an Al-Qaeda front.
Don’t expect any straight answers from him.
With his boorish conduct, he was still voted Parliamentarian of the Year (2010).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is feared, and not just because of his bouncer appearance.
He was the youngest delegate in the Tories at the time of his arrival (1985).
The Ottawa Business Journal named him one of their Top 40 Under 40.
He will escort his boss’s wife to functions.
