The Resume

    (circa 1980- )
Founded in Nigeria by Tela Tella
Also called ‘The Will of God Mission’, ‘The True Message of God Mission’, ‘Oke-Tude’ (meaning ‘The Mountain of Loosing Bondage’ in Yoruba), and ‘Ifeoluwa Mission’ (Ifeoluwa means ‘God's Love’ in Yoruba)
Regards both the Bible and Koran as religious texts
    Has about 1,500 followers

Why Chrislam might be annoying:

It has been criticized for syncretizing two very different religions together.
Heck, even Tela Tella claimed that the Bible and Koran are incompatible with each other, so he decided to write a book called the ‘Ifeoluwa Book’.
It has also been perceived as a cultural product of the Yoruba people rather than a genuinely religious one.
Oddly enough, Arthur C. Clarke mentioned a fictional religion with the same name in his works.

Why Chrislam might not be annoying:

It was founded in response to the sectarian violence between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.
Its followers claim that God loves all people and wants everyone to love one another.
It holds Muhammad, Moses, and Jesus in high regard, viewing them as great prophets.
Followers are allowed to worship using either Allah or God.
