Politician

The Resume

    (October 28, 1984- )
    Born in Penza, Russia
Russian Federation Senator from Penza Oblast (2020-21)
Appointed Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of Russia (October 27, 2021)

Why she might be annoying:

She orchestrated the forced relocation of thousands of Ukranian children to be adopted by Russian families.
Many of the 'orphans' being adopted still have families in Ukraine.
Ukranian children who are not adopted are placed in camps and subjected to forced Russification programs disguised as 'psychological rehabilitation.'
She openly boasts about personally adopting one of the children taken from Ukraine.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees declared the forced relocations to be a war crime (March 15, 2023).
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for her and Vladimir Putin for their roles in the relocations (March 17, 2023).

Why she might not be annoying:

She was a guitar teacher in children's music schools.
She operated several rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities.
At the time of her appointment as Children's Rights Commissioner, she had five biological children and four adoptive children and was a foster parent to thirteen children with disabilities.
When Putin asked how she could care for so many children while still having a political career, she replied, 'Well, that's just the way we are, moms with many children. We're all multitaskers.'
