The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He endured a lot of 'Casper the Friendly Ghost' references, as a result of his surname.
He was traded to the Kings, despite the fact he was a mainstay in the Bruins lineup for eight seasons.
He spent the final couple seasons of his playing career on poor teams.
His 1995-96 Bruins team was remembered for being eliminated in the first round by the Florida Panthers in the latter franchise's Stanley Cup playoff debut.
He was fired by the Bruins, after the team finished dead last in the NHL's overall standings, which in turn ended their consecutive playoff appearances streak at 29 years (1996-97).
He never served as an NHL head coach after his dismissal from Boston.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered a solid defensive forward, who played a clean style of game.
He wasn't afraid to take on defensive assignments to prevent the NHL's top stars from scoring.
He was the youngest recipient of the Frank J. Selke Trophy in NHL history, as he won the award at the age of 20.
He served as an assistant coach for the Bruins under Brian Sutter.
He was the Bruins head coach during their inaugural season at the FleetCenter, following their move from the historic Boston Garden.
