Why he might be annoying:

Canadian hockey fans felt he committed treason when he played for USA in the 2002 Winter Olympics; Hull was born in Canada.
His foot was in the crease when he scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal against the Buffalo Sabres in 1999. A foot in the goalie's crease is against the NHL rules and normally disqualifies the resulting goal.
He divorced his wife and mother of his children for a Dallas hostess.
He has a crooked nose and always has to be filmed/photographed from a certain angle to make it appear straight.
He starred in a commercial for a lawnmower.
