    He stated that he is a big a ‘Thatcher fan’.
    He supports affirmative action.
    He smoked Marlboro Lights.
    He seems to have borrowed a lot of gestures and words that made Tony Blair look good.
    He avoids giving straight answers when asked difficult questions in interviews.
    Lilly Allen dedicated her song ‘Fuck you’ to David during a concert in London after he said her music was not suitable for his 6 year old daughter.
    He came under fire for hiring phone hacker Andy Coulson as his Director of Communications and was accused of stalling a public inquiry into the News of the World phone hacking scandal (July 2011).

    He is a moderate conservative.
    He appeals to the younger generation.
    He regularly rides his bike to work.
    He gave up smoking.
    He enjoys music by The Killers and The Smiths and a pint of ale.
    He negotiated a joint leadership with political opponent Nick Clegg, leading to a successful conclusion to the election.
    His first child suffered from epilepsy and cerebral palsy and unexpectedly died in February 2010.
    He publicly expressed regret for his employment of Andy Coulson (July 20, 2011).
