Forward for the Vancouver Canucks (1990-93), St. Louis Blues (1993-94), New York Rangers (1994-95, 1998-2004), Edmonton Oilers (2004, 2006-07), Phoenix Coyotes (2004-06) and the Philadelphia Flyers (2006-07)

Why he might be annoying:

He was a journeyman player.
He sat out the majority of the 1993-94 season and the entire 1997-98 season as a result of contract disputes.
He defected to Canada during the communist rule of Czechoslovakia, which made him ineligible to play for the Czech Republic in IIHF sanctioned events.
As a result of his holdouts, he was described as being 'greedy' by hockey pundits.
He married and divorced model Veronika Varekova.

Why he might not be annoying:

He admitted his decision to defect to Canada was a result of seeking opportunities in hockey, which weren't available in his homeland.
He put up career highs in all scoring categories shortly after his trade to Pittsburgh.
Shortly after obtaining his Canadian citizenship, he played for Team Canada at the 1994 Winter Olympics.
He was the second Canuck player in three years to be drafted second overall.
He earned Rookie of the Year honors in both the WHL and CHL as a whole (1990).
