Nicknamed 'the Bewitched'

Why he might be annoying:

He was seriously deformed and retarded.
He suffered from mandibular prognathism (i.e., an overly large jaw) and couldn't chew food as a result.
His mother served as regent since he was incapable of ruling.
People believed his deformities were caused by witchcraft and he underwent several exorcisms.
His reign was a disaster.
He married twice, but neither marriage was consummated.
When his second wife died, he had the graves of his ancestors opened.
He was the last Habsburg king of Spain.
His death began the War of the Spanish Succession.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the only surviving legitimate offspring of his father, King Phillip IV.
He became king when he was four years old.
He inherited his large jaw from his Habsburg ancestors (it's called--what else?--the Habsburg jaw).
His family had a history of mental problems.
His parents were uncle and niece, and they themselves were wildly inbred.
His father contracted syphilis from visiting whorehouses and may have transmitted to his mother.
He was epileptic.
By the end of his life, he had lost his hair, his teeth, his hearing, and most of his sight.
He probably died from long-term effects of congenital syphilis.
