The Resume

    (October 14, 1993- )
    Born in Chicago, Illinois
    Conservative activist
    Founder/President of Turning Point USA (2012- )
Author of 'Campus Battlefield: How Conservatives Can Win the Battle on Campus and Why It Matters' (2018) and 'The MAGA Doctrine: The Only Ideas That Will Win the Future' (2020)
Host of 'The Charlie Kirk Show' podcast

Why he might be annoying:

He is a Tucker Carlson wannabe.
He is Candace Owens' BFF Blexit-partner in crime.
His charm is that of a baby-faced school-boy who employs WWE-level theatrics (if John Cena was ever transplanted into AlexKeaton's body basically).
Exhibit A would be his challenging Cenk Uyger to a fight during a heated argument over his salary at Politcon.
He told Taylor Swift to 'stay away from politics' after she endorsed a Democrat for the Senate in Tennessee, but he praised (and facilitated) Kanye West when it came to the singer's support President Trump.
He is prone to making 'alternative fact' statements like incorrectly claiming France's Yellow Vest protesters chanted 'we want Trump' (claims which the President later repeated).
He was criticized for claiming that his West Point application was rejected in favor of 'a far less-qualified candidate of a different gender and a different persuasion' (he later walked it back, claiming sarcasm).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is a no-holds-barred debater.
He is a riotous annual fixture at CPAC.
He has professed his admiration for Elon Musk.
His favorite shows are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Seinfeld.
He's the one most likely to dethrone Ben Shapiro (pushing 40) as the premier 'young Republican.'
An essay he wrote on liberal bias in high school textbooks earned him his first Fox News spot (he was only a high school senior).
He admitted to having been misled by the initial Covington kids footage (although his deleted tweet defending them - 'Leave them alone' - was pretty tame).
