    Sentenced to death for her role in killing 15 people in URA purges

Why she might be annoying:

    She would fly into a hysterical rage when excited over political issues.
    She took part in the murder of two URA members who tried to defect (August, 1971).
    With chairman Tsuneo Mori, she directed the beating deaths of six URA members and one non-member witness (February, 1972).
    Six other URA members were tied to trees and left to freeze to death.
    She singled out for death URA members who showed more interest in women than the revolution.
    She was on death row for three decades without the sentence ever being carried out.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She was infertile because of a thyroid condition.
    She wept during her trial, saying 'Even I had human emotions.'
    She was diagnosed with a brain tumor while in prison and spent the last years of her confinement bedridden.
