Why she might be annoying:

Her acting abilities are poor.
She has a generic-sounding stage name.
She faked a successful film career through Photoshop and Instagram.
Charlamagne Tha God called her a 'career pretender,' ' a social media stunter,' and a 'Facebook fronter.'
She deleted all of her social media accounts after her media hoax was discovered.
Her last dated project had been in 2012, from the looks of it, around the time her deception began to take off.
She lifted a great deal of social media material (photos, captions) from Sophia Bush's account.
She has edited photos to make it look as though she was guest starring on popular television shows.
She used her Photoshop skills to superimpose her face onto the lead actress in the BBC miniseries, 'Emma.'
She gave an interview to a Spanish news outlet in which she not only claimed to have attended the 2015 ceremony, but even claimed to have had a conversation with host Neil Patrick Harris 'for a good while.'
Prior to being exposed, she had edited Lupita Nyong’o's snapshot of her invitation to the 87th annual Academy Awards, cropping it so as to pass it off as her own.
Looking at the poor quality of the images, its shocking that she was able to fool as many people as she did, and for such a long time (at least three years).

Why she might not be annoying:

She is media savvy.
She looks like Kristen Stewart.
She made for countless hilarious internet memes.
She benefited from having a legion of extremely gullible fans (did they ever think of YouTubing her alleged performance in BBC's 'Emma?')
The mockery, for the most part, remained confined to Spanish-language media, although American media outlets did take notice (she never worked in Hollywood to begin with, so she lost nothing in that regard).
This included social media users sharing photo-shopped images of her face superimposed into other improbable situations, including several Leonardo DiCaprio scenes in 'Titanic' and Ellen DeGeneres' famous group selfie from the 2014 Oscars ceremony.
At least she's not a reputed journalist who lied about surviving life-threatening ordeals overseas (and at least she didn't start indignantly leveling threats at people who called her on it).
