    She turned down a show pitched by her father (‘Baltimore,’ a sitcom about jazz musicians) with the comment, ‘Well, dad, it’s not your best work.’
    ABC’s ratings slide continued when she was in charge.
    She signed a lucrative production deal with Robert Morton while in a relationship with him.
    During a network promotional event, reporters spotted her and Ryan Reynolds slipping outside to make out (1998).
    Former ABC Entertainment President Ted Harbert called her ‘the most hated woman in Hollywood.’

Why she might not be annoying:

    Her former boss, Warren Littlefield, said, ‘Jamie is best in the sandbox that is creative. Writers enjoy working with her.’
    At NBC, she helped develop the hit series Friends, Frasier, and Mad About You.
    She was the first woman in charge of programming for one of the major broadcast networks.
    In the series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, network head Jordan McDeere (portrayed by Amanda Peet) was ‘loosely based’ on her.
